Memory outfit OCZ Technology has unveiled its DDR3 memory kits designed specifically for Intel's next generation processors - Core i7.

With Core i7 scheduled to make its debut next month there's an understandable rush to bring compatible components to market. OCZ is claiming this launch is "the industry's first triple channel memory kit designed specifically for the impending Intel Core i7 processor/Intel X58 Express Chipset," although A-DATA might have something to say about that.

"OCZ engineered these 3GB and 6GB kits specifically for Intel's imminent platform," said Michael Schuette, VP of technology development at OCZ. "By using special-screened, low voltage-capable ICs, these modules are the perfect complement for the Intel X58 Chipset to deliver the maximum performance by enabling low latency settings and higher system frequency."

Here's a list of the products available with links to the OCZ pages:

What about prices?
probably priced high enough to make an oil tycoon cry…

say for £700 (just an example, I don't know the pricing either) for the 3GB kit? SWEET!
Where did you get the £700 from?
Good point, OCZ didn't provide pricing and it doesn't seem to be on those links either…
