Mobile madness?

Nokia's C5-03 handset has gone on sale in the UK and is designed as an affordable touch smartphone offering.

The new model is available in 3 flavours, boasts a 3.2 inch display, 5MP camera, plus speedy connectivity via Wi-Fi, 3G and HSDPA for £189 sim free.

The budget smartphone also comes with Ovi services such as free Ovi Maps with voice-guided navigation and access to the Ovi Store. A bunch of apps such as Shazam Encore and ESPN come pre-loaded.

Nokia's C5-03 model also offers usual smartphone features like the ability to customise and add shortcuts to the home screen, while customers without data plans can tap into Wi-Fi hotspots to make use of web features.

Sami Lehtinen, GM of Nokia UK, said: "The new Nokia C5-03 is a great looking smartphone that offers excellent features and the benefits of Nokia's Ovi services, at an affordable price."

It is available from Nokia's online shop, H3G, T-Mobile, The Carphone Warehouse, Virgin, O2, Vodafone and Phone4U.

Nearly twice the price of many budget Android phones though!
no led flash. expect the HTC Wildfire to outsell it by bucketloads then…
The quoted price seems to be for a SIM free phone not subsidised by a network.

Downside to the Wildfire is that the screen is worse quality and is actually more expensive sim free than the Nokia C5. Also worth noting alot of apps don't seem to work on it according to forms. Not a good budget android phone to go for.
