Almost a fifth of Apple iPad owners have more than one tablet in their household either owned by themselves or another member of their family, according to a YouGov's TabletTrack survey.

YouGov interviewed 4,537 respondents, of which 802 were tablet owners in mid November and found that the main reason for owning more than one tablet in a household is due to other family members using it.

Over a third of Apple iPad owners said their partner uses their trusty tablet with the iPad's user-friendly appeal persuading family members to have a go...as well as the purchaser to buy the pricey tablet in the first place.

According to the TabletTrack research, 14 percent of Apple iPad users bought another tablet because their child was using it- although it is unknown as to whether they invested in another iPad or snapped up a less expensive lower spec alternative to keep the kids happy.

Meanwhile, 17 percent of tablet owners currently own another device and another fifth of all tablet owners are considering purchasing another tablet in the future, according to the poll.

The report found that tablet owners are a loyal bunch, with 71 percent of iPad owners vowing to get another iPad.

However, the lure of newer tablets being released in the future may also drive an increase in the 2+ tablet households with 18 percent of Apple iPad owners stating that they will purchase other tablets that become available in the future.

One tablet is not enough, says survey.

Well it doesn't really say that, does it? More like, "One tablet is enough for 80% of iPad owners".
Apple… bringing idiots together.
They probably have two to multitask.
Well Sheep do stay in a flock don't they.
