Peripherals
There is technology from Logitech's Harmony remote controls in the Revue so, in theory, the one controller should work for all TV-related devices. Having said you just need one controller, there is another you can buy separately - the Logitech Mini Controller, which seems to be a mini version of the keyboard.
There's also a webcam designed especially for the telly, with a wide-angle lens and two directional microphones. The principle use for this is expected to be video calls via the TV. There will also be smartphone apps - for the iPhone as well as Android - to allow you to control your telly with your phone, if that's your thing.
The downside of all this Internet TV fun for anyone who doesn't live in the States is that there's currently no news about the products launching over here. The main reasons for this are probably a) a wait-and-see approach before exposing themselves globally and b) the need to negotiate content deals locally. Hopefully we'll get an update on that matter soon.
The whole line of Logitech Google TV products will be available direct from Logitech and via Best Buy in the States by the end of this month. The Revue is priced at $300, the mini controller at $130 and the TV cam at $150.
