First go

Only a couple of weeks after the mobile OS collaboration between Intel and Nokia - MeeGo - was released to the open-source world, Intel is already showing it off in action.

At IDF Beijing, which hasn't exactly produced a tidal-wave of eye-catching product launches, and Intel guy provided a couple of video sneak peeks of a keynote due today about MeeGo 1.0.

In the first video you can see a preview of the keynote, which shows what one of the big ideas behind MeeGo is: continuity across multiple devices.

MeeGo is clearly intended to be very integrated with the cloud and it makes sense that a collaboration between a PC chip-maker and a mobile phone handset maker would aspire to maximum device compatibility.

The second clip show MeeGo 1.0 in greater detail, running on a Pinetrail Acer netbook. There are some novel features, such as a tab-based layout that subdivides the tasks you might want to do.
