Qualcomm and Android dominate HTC 2010 roadmap

With PC vendors increasingly showing an interest in the smartphone sector, incumbent handset makers are redoubling their efforts to keep the competition as fierce as ever.

Conspicuous among these has been HTC, which has not only been quick to offer a high-end, Qualcomm Snapdragon-based (QSD8250) handset, but has even commenced its first ever global ad campaign.

If you're wondering what's next from HTC, a forum member of xda-developers has posted what they claim is a brochure first presented last October.

We've summarised the highlights in the table below and, as you will see, all the processors are from Qualcomm and Microsoft's Windows Mobile, which used to dominate HTC's offerings, has been relegated to just the ‘productivity' handsets.
