Orange confirms DEXT UK availability and pricing

Last week, US handset maker Motorola announced the first of a new line of smartphones running Google's Android operating system. Focusing on social networking on the move, Moto is hoping this launch will revive its flagging mobile phone market share.

We already knew the DEXT was going to be available exclusively through Orange in the UK, but not much else. Today, however, Orange confirmed that the DEXT will be available in the UK from early October and will be "free" to anyone who signs up for a a £34.26 per month, 24 month contract.

Here are some more specs (taken from the US Motorola site - so may not be the same as the Orange version) and the now obligatory Orange video showing the handset off.

When it says exclusive does that mean orange is the only place in the UK who will get it or will we still be able to get it network free at places like expansys?
