When acronyms collide
HIS is one of a small stable of graphics board partners exclusive to AMD/ATI. With ATI graphics undergoing a resurgence since the launch of the HD 4800 series, HIS is making a push to gain market share in, among other places, the UK.
Central to its plans is distributor M2M, which is the sole distributor of HIS products in the UK. M2M has historically focused on the memory and storage markets so this represents quite a departure for it.
