Barking up the wrong tree

HP seems to be at the centre of a rumour storm today and the latest alleges the PC giant has been demanding that its manufacturing partners refuse orders from fellow notebook maker Asus on pain of having their business with HP reduced.

So far neither company has officially commented on the story, but HEXUS.channel was able to speak to HP EMEA PR manager Manuel Linnig, who gave us the following statement:

"We do categorically deny all the allegations. We did not send out any notice, nor did HP communicate in any manner to its manufacturing partners that they not accept orders from Asus.

"We have a strong standard of business policy and, of course, compete fairly in the marketplace."

We have yet to receive any comment from Asus on this matter but will share it with you as soon as we do.

Can't wait to see a reply from ASUS. I never thought of HP being a bully company before.
You're making me paranoid now. :surrender:
