Taiwanese tech site Digitimes has reported that Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), which has fab, testing and packaging operations in the area of the earthquake has said that its operations are not being affected by the natural disaster.

It also reported that “most” Taiwanese companies seem also to have been relatively unaffected, but suggested that an Intel packaging and testing facility has had to suspend production.
