HEXUS.channel congratulates AMD exec Leslie Sobon on her promotion to worldwide director of product management for desktop, notebooks and servers.
As well as adding notebooks and servers to her current remit as director of product and brand management for desktops, Sobon seems to now have the overall senior product management post.
We understand that internally, within the upper echelons of AMD, this promotion is viewed as a very good thing and welcome news.
Sobon was previously marketing director at Dell, and prior to that had a similar role at Texas Instruments' software division.
