Marked for life

Thecus’ 1U rack mount storage product – the 1U4500 – is now the proud bearer of the CE mark, which proves that it is in compliance with CE standards EN 60950-1:2001+A11:2004 and IEC 60950-1:2001.

CE marking is a mandatory European standard for NAS products to indicate conformity with a bunch of European health and safety rules, as well as emissions and other eco stuff, no doubt.

Thecus also employed the services of a TAF/ Chinese National Laboratory Accreditation (CNLA) certified independent laboratory to check the performance of the 1U4500 under extreme conditions. Among the tests was the promising-sounding extended random vibration test, which it appears to have passed.
