Microsoft and Symbian get paranoid
Reuters has revealed that “a source close to the company” has told it that a prototype of Google’s Android mobile phone platform will be demonstrated at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, which starts on Monday.
They were unable to confirm what sort of device it would appear on or any details about its components.
Android is in fact a collection of a large number of technology companies, headed up by Google. Android handsets are expected to make an appearance later this year.
