Tomorrow's world?
Channel networking event DISTREEXXL has announced the winners of its ‘60 Seconds to Convince’ awards, in which vendors are given just a minute to convince attending distributors that their product is the most deserving.
The Best Product Design Award winner was Polish RAM and flash vendor Wilk and its innovative flash drive: GoodDrive Fresh, pictured right. On first glance this appears to be just another flash drive, but closer inspection reveals that it SMELLS. Yes, now you can get your flash drive in orange, strawberry and lime flavours. Genius. Among the runners up were In Win for its Allure case, pictured below, Port Design, Modecome and PQI.
The other award was for Best Product Innovation. This was won by Promate for its ProStation 2, which appears to be a foldable notebook cooling station with USB hub and card reader. Plustek, Pleomax and IRIS were among the runners up.
“The ‘60 Seconds to Convince’ Awards Programme has proven once again to be a real bonus for vendors. Not only is it entertaining, but it is also a great opportunity for companies to present their latest products directly to the EMEA region’s top distributors using a live, interactive platform,” said Farouk Hemraj, co-founder of DISTREE Events.
