Tiny processors

Via's next-generation Isaiah x86 processor architecture has been specifically designed for UMPCs (ultra-mobile PCs) and MIDs (mobile internet devices), the latter being a bit smaller than the former, it seems.

Via says processors implementing the Isaiah are expected to start shipping in the first half of 2008, which probably means June - around the same time Intel's new processor designed for the same function, codenamed Silverthorne, is due to make an appearance.
